Personality:
Parasite is a nasty human being. He does not believe in kindness or friendliness. Instead, he prefers to be quite nasty to people. He lacks any good social skills and is often found not socialising but playing his saxophone.
Parasite is known for his terrible sense of dark humour, by which he makes fun of death and destruction. His heroes include Stalin and Hitler.
Parasite is often found playing his saxophone, because he is actually very musically talented. Before joining the Brotherhood, he made ends meet on the streets playing his instrument.

What I can Do and Can't
Powers: Parasite's primary power is the retention and distribution of bacteria. He is unaffected by any harmful disease, but can store these bacteria and give them to people either temporally or permanently.
He can also talk to animals, primarily insects and arachnoids, like bees, spiders and wasps. He has many pets, which he controls to harm people. He can transfer his consciousness into these creatures. He stores many of his creatures within his saxophone.
He can actually talk to all animals, but it is only insects that listen/obey him unconditionally. To a degree, he can transfer all types of cells into enemies. This actually stretches to things like harmed cells. In a way, he can therefore induce pain by transferring harmed cells into enemies. Also he can put cells that have been affected by alcoholism or drugs into individuals, thus recreating the features of a junky in a person that should healthy.
Abilities: Basic knife-fighting ability.
Weaknesses: Parasite is no fighter. He has guns/knives that he used to use to mug people, but if he got into an actual fight, he would struggle. He is also hopelessly addicted to several drugs. He is not intelligent and uneducated, therefore can be manipulated.
He often suffers severe headaches and liver-malfunctioning due to drug/alcohol problems respectively.
The control he has over animals (especially insects) is quite random. Sometimes they obey him completely, but often they do not. Sometimes they can even turn on him.
What Happened to Me
Harry Gretchen was born in New York City to English parents. His mother died in pregnancy and his father overdosed on cocaine when Harry was six. The young boy was put into an orphanage but was transferred after he was found sniffing cocaine and drinking alcohol age ten.
He lived on the streets of San Francisco from age sixteen and discovered that he did, in fact, have powers. He began using them for personal gain, for example getting bees to attack people so he could steal their money. He also got spiders to steal car keys for him. He was taught saxophone by a homeless man, and in time both men became very good. They did a double-act where they got money from passers-by. The teacher also introduced Harry to cocaine and alcohol. Any money from the streets was used for drugs. Harry contracted AIDS but discovered he was actually resistant to it. He also, accidentally, killed his teacher by transferring AIDS cells to him.
Parasite walked to New York and met up with cousin, a young mutant who said there was a place for him in the Brotherhood. Parasite joined but left soon after to follow his dream of working in Las Vegas, where he got a job as a performer, using his talents to wow audiences. He had to leave after murdering a fellow performer, who stole cocaine from him.
He then walked back to New York to rejoin the Brotherhood.

Harry's head hurt. Harry's nose hurt. The effects of whisky. The effects of cocaine. Harry smiled.
He played his saxophone for a while before getting bored. The Brotherhood was weak, he recognised that, but he could not do anything about it. After all, he was a simple man. He decided to play that song - 'Simple Man', on the saxophone.
Once he was finished he went into his cupboard and dug out one of his shoes. He emptied the contents of the show - a fine white powder - onto his desk. He then pressed his nose against the desk and sniffered violently.
That was the stuff...
